EXECUTIVE BOARD
ELIAN MORALES
PRESIDENT
Biomedical Sciences (‘25)
Hi everyone! I’m excited to serve as your President this year! I joined H4H because seven years ago, I lost my home to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. During the storm, my house was flooded with six feet of water and mud. For over a year, I slept on the floor and had no electricity, water service, or transportation. Despite everything, I was grateful that my family was safe. Since that day, my perspective on life has shifted, and I’ve dedicated myself to helping those in need, especially those facing challenges far greater than I experienced. Hearts for the Homeless has provided me with the ideal platform to pursue my mission of assisting those in need. This year, we plan to organize larger events to raise awareness about health disparities and homelessness in our community. We aim to resume donation drives that encourage the UCF community to donate and show their support for those in need, especially now during hurricane season.

RADHIKA VENKATESAN
VICE PRESIDENT
Biomedical Sciences (‘26)
Hi guys! I am thrilled to serve as your Vice President this upcoming year after serving as your Community Outreach Officer last year! My future goal is to become a physician and serve historically underserved communities. Fun fact, I am one of the co-founders of a fairly new club at UCF called the Mothers and Children Health Association! In my free time, I love to play pickleball and bake- I have never successfully baked cookies without messing up one of the ingredients. I joined H4H as I wanted to be part of making a change to the lives of the homeless individuals. With my time in H4H, I was able to start ROM screenings, as well as eye health screenings, and establish a partnership with the Ocoee Lions Club Eye Clinic to refer homeless individuals with low eye health screening scores for further assistance. This year, I plan on starting a H4H Assistance Program to provide direct non-medical help to the homeless community. Being directly part of such a significant impact is why I chose to pursue H4H!

EMILY LIU
SECRETARY
Biomedical Sciences (‘26)/ Spanish
Hi everyone! I’m excited to serve as your Secretary this year after previously being a part of H4H as a screening director and a social director. I’m looking forward to hosting our cooking competitions at Ronald McDonald House for families with sick children as well as Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter. I’m hoping to meet everyone at our socials including our spikeball tournament, holiday party, game knight and more! In my free time, I enjoy writing and if you’d like to find out more about H4H and what we do, there is an article I wrote in the UCF Student Magazine, Imprint, about what it means to volunteer with us. Our hope is to make sure no individual or family gets left behind and I’m grateful to be a part of an organization that puts the health of our community first.

SHANE PATEL
TREASURER
Biology ('26)/ Business Administration
Hey everyone! I am excited to be serving as your Treasurer this year for H4H after previously serving as one of the Social Directors! My future goal is to become a dentist with interest in becoming an Endodontist. My favorite hobbies include playing basketball and cooking! H4H has given me a way to connect to the underserved individuals who do not have access to health resources. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this organization of like-minded individuals who have similar goals in serving the community. My favorite part about our mission on serving the community is being able to educate individuals who never had the opportunity to learn about how important physical and mental health are. This year, my biggest goal is to continue to spread awareness and create even stronger ties throughout our community. I plan on creating more member involved fundraising opportunities, implement a brand new merchandise store, plan service trips and much more.

ANDREW CASANOVA
MEDICAL INFORMATIONS OFFICER
Chemistry (‘24)/ Philosophy
Hi! My name is Andrew Casanova, and I am proud to serve as your medical information officer this year. I joined H4H during my sophomore year after learning about the poor conditions and lack of resources among homeless individuals in downtown Orlando during my time as an EMT. I have always had a passion for preventative medicine and was drawn to this organization as a means to put my skills to use by better informing underprivileged individuals about their health and providing them the necessary connections in order to have a meaningful impact on their health and, hopefully, their lives. I hope to one day pursue these interests with a career as an internal medicine physician, though I haven’t decided on a specific subspecialty. In my free time, I enjoy reading about philosophy and non-fiction books, but every once in a while, I’ll pick up a novel that piques my interest. I also love running and watching movies with friends.”

KRISH GOSHLAKAR
COMMUNITY OUTREACH OFFICER
BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES ('27)/ BUSINESS ADMINISRATION
Hi guys! I’m excited to be your Community Outreach Officer this year! H4H has allowed me to really immerse myself in the community around me and start important conversations with people about their health. I’ve always enjoyed making one-on-one connections with people, and talking about their health is something I’m passionate about. For some people, I believe that our club members get to be the first person to get them the medical attention they need. It shows that we can really make a significant difference in their lives. I believe I will learn so much more about what it means serve the underserved in next couple years as I’m working my way towards medical school. In my free time, I look to read, cook, and listen to music. I’m currently re-reading my favorite series from my childhood, the Alex Rider series.

RECRUITMENT OFFICER
Biomedical Sciences (‘26)/ Diversity & Social Inequality, Medical Sociology
Hello there! I am beyond grateful to be in the position of supporting our local homeless community and members like yourself as this year’s Recruitment Officer. As a first-generation student and aspiring physician, my focus is on enriching underserved communities and rectifying disparities within healthcare through policy, education, and outreach. Becoming an advocacy director with H4H and conducting multiple research projects on homelessness has prepared me to use our Instagram and TikTok platforms to foster new opportunities for change and new ways for you all to get involved! In my spare time, you can find me nose-deep in my latest read. My friend and I co-host the literary podcast Booked ‘n Busy on Spotify where we read and react to each other’s polar-opposite book suggestions. I am also currently working on drafting and publishing my first-ever poetry collection!
